Art Therapy
Art therapy is not for everyone. For clients who prefer expressing themselves through art, Lise uses a variety of techniques which allow the client to explore their feelings creatively. Some of the techniques she uses are, drawing a self-portrait, making a collage or creating a picture of their family or relationship.

Belanger Counselling Services provides a warm and supportive environment for clients to express their thoughts and feelings and to explore alternative ways of working through their difficulties. The therapist provides an individualized therapeutic approach tailored to meet the client's individual needs.

Fees
The fee for a counselling session is in compliance with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Please verify your insurance coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

Do my benefits cover therapist who are certified members of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers?

Solution Focused Therapy can be used when wanting to find solutions to everyday problems. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can be used for depression and changing maladaptive thought processes. Mindfulness/Relaxation Techniques and Person Centered Therapy can be used when dealing with relationship and communication issues, anxiety, depression, addiction issues and self-esteem. Traumatic Incident Reduction can be used to work with issues of abuse, unwanted feelings & fears, and issues with people, & situations
